Police Brutality and the Inequality Against African Americans

Racism has been an ongoing issue for over decades. Blacks did not have the same privilege as whites did. African Americans were not allowed to eat in public restaurants, rent hotel rooms and literally had to ride in the back of the bus for public transportation, they were treated less than humans less than equal. African Americans did not have any protection from the law, because in most cases blacks could not vote. If they could not vote for the sheriff, police officers, or the mayor then they did not have to loan any type of assistant to blacks.
