I found a blog is the problem with general managers in hotels, written by Patrick Landman. This blog is about hotel manager. This blog is including The GM problem, Core skills/general skills and wider vision. I think this blog help me a lot about hotel manager. In the GM problems, they found many hotels being managed by former food and beverage or front desk managers with little experience in finance or business strategy.
