Introduction

This report states all the factors associated with the system update project for Chauffe Electric. They are a thriving business that is in desperate need of upgrading their computer hardware and network system in their office. This upgrade will bring the company up to date with the latest software and hardware innovations available to the industry. Upgrading the business to current market level with its local competitors allowing them to be productive and competitive.

Project Purpose and Justification

To compete in today's ever-changing business environment, Chauffe Electric, Inc. must be running on current technologies to meet specific their business intentions. This project will elevate all the desktop and laptop PCs at Chauffe Electric, Inc. to the Windows XP10 operating system. All new PCs will be analyzed for any possible compatibility issues and upgraded as needed. A schedule will be developed to ensure the rollout of the PCs and Windows 10 XP is incorporated with as little interruption to regular business operations. Also, all PCs will be tested before delivery for quality control. To reduce the impact on the employees, this project will include post-delivery PC support for each staff members, and through the development of online tutorials and user manuals.
