The following dimensions have been put into place to ensure that the depth of the ridges are kept the same. Doing this will reduce all forms of likelihood of any abnormalities occuring when the driver worm is connect to the gear.

Here are the three stages of the creation of the driver worm. A sketch round the x axis of 360 degrees was drawn followed by a mirror bein created by the datum plane for the seep that was to be made.

The exact same steps were repeated in this stage, the only differences being a few dimensions and a change in the directions of the sweeps. To be more specific the difference in this case between the plane and the sweep was 6, this was to ensure that the heical sweepes were at an eaqual distance from each other in order for the two distances to stay equal when the overall size is changed. Doing this removes the likelhood of any mechanical issues.

These are the creation and extrudes on the sides of the casing the bottom one is in a fixed position right at the bottom of the casing if it was to move problems with the final assembly may occur

Here the m8x1 holes are made with radial dimensions and are 45degrees to the plane and 50 away from the respective centre points. These hold association because they stay in the same position in terms of angle.

These extruded holes hold associativity with the extruded holes on the other side because if these bottom extrudes became bigger the bottom

The driven worm the casing and bush are linked together for the assembly to attach properly the driver worm size and length has to be proportional to the space left inside the casing or else the machine will think the casing is one big part with the driven worm locked inside unable to move.
If the seal is moved or made bigger it makes the sub-assembly of the end plate faulty so its size and placement is directly associated by these things.

The driver worm and the end plate share association in terms of the driver worm’s length

The end plate holds association with both worms in terms of the driver having to be able to fit through the extruded hole.
The driven worm also needs to end exactly inside the space given in the end plate.

Review from my personal experience of the design
Over 60 hours of using creo elements has made me come to the conclusion that the programme is very much user friendly, it is very simple to use once you get the hand of things but as the work becomes more complex, any small mistake could lead to a complete failure in the model you are creating. Which therefore means it would have to be redone from the start.
Features in the programme
Flex modelling: The feature is all about editing wherever and whenever changing geometries, features and patterns, which give the user the ability to easily edit saved models from any system without having to work out how someone laid the model out from the data tree.

Options modeller

This allows for making and validating assemblies in 3d. The feature allows checking for interferences in the models make up. The feature also allows for automated creation of any product by defining common architecture, product modules, and manages how they interface and assemble.

Freestyle: The freestyle feature allows the making of curves at the move of the mouse, the geometries stay ongoing.
Parts can be made up around images taken from sites like google and used as a template within the programme for design accuracy with a primitive

Ease of use
It was noticed that assembling of parts became fast and easy with very little frustration. Nevertheless, while learning from scratch how to do what inside the programme, the tools become quick and easy to use, the only real difficulty was when it came to assembling the final parts.

Problems
Some problems that were come across are as follows; The sweep continuously did things it wasn’t supposed to do; especially not cutting into the worm it would sometimes just leave patterned lines around the worm and nothing else happened neither could be corrected. Other problems included making the driver and driven worms became tedious when figuring out how to correctly place the helical sweeps accurately around the worms.
After assembling, saved models cannot be found and are still not found or are extremely difficult to find when the assembly is re-opened

Conclusion
Creo parametric has been a overall achieving in terms of doing what it is made to do with some of the functions that are there, the fact that the models can come out just the way the blue prints say it should of is a testament to its well and thorough programming the art is well presented and perfectly matches up with the dimension that are put in.
On the other hand Creo can become a lot more learner friendly because the amount of times and ease on basic designs that no progress can be made without deleting the whole model and starting again can be tiring and detrimental to any users motivation to wanting to learn how to use specific features.
Overall Creo parametric 2.0 is a very good model design programme and therefore I give it a 8/10 based on learning and putting into practice this project.
