Online Business Expansion Proposal for JRose Integrative Therapy
1. Service Viability JRose Integrative Therapy is a small, privately owned business that provides physical therapy to adults in the Chesapeake and Virginia Beach regions of Virginia. As a service provider, the practice follows a strictly business-to-consumer model. The main source of customer traffic for the practice is through referral of local doctors and word-of-mouth. It already has a website in place; however, it is not optimized to bring business traffic to the practice. A search of the keywords “physical therapy virginia beach” on Google and Bing does not return a link to JRose in the first five pages of results. A search for "physical therapy chesapeake va" on Google will return a link, but it is below the fold on the second page of results. Therefore, several changes and improvements need to be made in order for the website to help the business reach more potential clients. As a small business, JRose needs to utilize every tool at its disposal to increase customer awareness. The only way to increase revenue is to bring more clients through the door and the only way to do that is through increased awareness. The online community is the easiest and most cost-effective way to reach a very large audience. Introducing a scheduling tool to the existing website is a way to empower the potential client by allowing them to choose an appointment time that works best for them without feeling pressured into a time slot that works best for the company. Bringing an elevated level of customer service to the business through the power of the online community will help to increase positive customer feedback and thereby increase business through positive networking.
