Today, we study about how to make good tools in presentation which is PowerPoint slides and Prezi. We learned at computer lab with all friends in 3 sections. At the beginning of the class, it was so noisy which made me distracted. Here is my weakness that really needs to be improved. Anyway, I did study while teachers were teaching and realized that I made wrong PowerPoint slides for long time. I learned that a PowerPoint should follow the rule of six which is six lines per slide and six words per line that I have never known before. For Prezi, I know the name of it but had not get chance to make it. I made PowerPoint slides all my life. Hence, when I know that this class gave me a chance to use the Prezi, I was so exited to learn new things. I can consider that …show more content…
My group’s topic is “How to be healthy?”. I had prepared well for this presentation because it was the first presentation of this semester. To be healthy, we should eat well, sleep well, and exercise. In the last part of my presentation, every member in my group came up in front of the class and showed some example of exercise. We were all so shy but we can do it for the points. The reason we came out and demonstrated the exercise is to gain attention from the audience. And I think this can be applied to the real life as we tried to gain some attention from someone we had to come up with the idea that will interest them. Since I had prepared for the presentation so my talk was flawless. And I considered that is one of my strong points. Having good teammates can help improve our presentation’s outlook also. My weak point is that I didn’t listen to other groups’ presentation much. I made that time as my free time and played my phone. I would like to improve my skill of listening to other people and not distract easily. I want to say thank you to my teacher that taught me the way to make a good presentation because I can see that my presentation skills are

For all lab reports and projects this year he has demonstrated the same exemplar work and written to explain with good description and detail. Bany has stayed consistent with the level of her work this year and I would like to see her take more steps toward improvement. Edci 7761 Week 1 Reflection

...Sadly, this is the last reflection for EDCI 7761. Frankly, I can say reflections were one of the best part of this class for me. Reflections helped me to write and synthesis of general thoughts about all readings, class discussions and things that I learned or I surprise. They will be really good sources when I need to remember something in this course in the future. I would try to do that for my other classes too. In the last two weeks, we mostly spend our time with Strategy Share Presentation and Action Research Project Presentation. ‘Teaching Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills’ was our chapter with Renita. Before starting to say my thoughts about our presentation, I have to say, she is a really good teacher and she helped me a lot during all process. I felt really lucky to work with her. At the beginning, both of us did not like this chapter, because the first pages of this chapter were too theoretical. However, after we saw different practices to use this method we really liked it. I found this method very helpful for gifted education. Especially, for many gifted learners using graphics might be a very effective way to organize information or show the relationships between ideas. Plus, teachers who want to improve their students analytical and critical thinking skills can use these strategies; cooperative learning, asking higher order questions, employing Socratic dialogue or shared inquiry, using interactive computer...

Reflection on What I Learned from the Information Technology Course and Project

...Running head: REFLECTION: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY 1 Reflection on what I learned from the Information Technology Course and Project Jonathan Balarama Keita Thongsook College BA TESOL REFLECTION: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Reflection on what I learned from the Information Technology Course and Project To begin with a definition, according to the Merriam Webster dictionary, Information Technology is ‘the technology involving the development, maintenance, and use of computer systems, software, and networks for the processing and distribution of data’. Information Technology is a vast subject and it is quite interesting. The course The ICT course was not really difficult, as I had a very good knowledge about the different types of technologies that were presented, but the idea of adapting them to my classroom got me thinking. Although, I have used technology in my classroom before, now I 2 have new ideas and skills to do a better job. In class I was given many different materials such as the different ways to use mobile phones, tablets or computers in the classroom. A brave new world talks about how the new generation have different ways of doing things and most importantly learning, which makes a lot of sense to me because I am not very old myself and I love to practically do or understand something, which I find helps to a greater extent in learning. More than half the world uses some sort of software based technology and the numbers are rising every day, so keeping technology...
