Rubens was a Flemish Baroque painter and was admirably recognized for his Counter-Reformation altarpieces, portraits, landscapes and historical paintings of mythological characters. Rembrandt was a Dutch painter and printmaker, who was also known for his etching. His greatest successes are told through his portraits of the people who surrounded his life, his self-portraits and paintings of scenes in the Bible. Both artists received a traditional education and then continued their education with several apprenticeships to learn the basics of art and painting. These artists were treated with immense success in the 17th century, especially considering the amount of turmoil that was happening with the ‘Eighty Year War’ happening all around them. The journey to success contained personal triumphs and setbacks for both artists, albeit each journey was draped with divergence. The differences between upbringing and lifestyle of each artist led to a different approach to their paintings as well as a different style of art in general. On one hand, there is always a moral choice camp for whom vegetarianism and veganism are choices of non-violence towards animals. PETA is the biggest advocate for moral vegetarianism and much alike other followers of this principle, is not too much concerned with the ultimate healthiness of the food choice, as long as it does not involve killings. “Soy sausages and “Fib Ribs to Tofurky jerky and mock lobster” that PETA is citing as its meat alternatives, do not sound too ingredient-friendly. How could I have lived here in Tampa for seventeen years and never visit this place? I walked in and saw the grounds; this place was huge, well kept and full of history. My first stop was a stroll through Marble rose garden, it was beautiful , over one thousand-two hundred roses are planted in the garden the beautiful marble sculptures was placed in the right order, not overpowering the garden but just enough to accent the landscape. The stroll quiet relaxing, the cool air flowing through the trees, the sweet smell of morning dew on rose petal was the perfect way to begin the day. As my stroll ended I was told that the large tree surrounding the ground was much smaller, giving Mable a clear view of her garden from every room in her mansion. My next stop was the Museum of Art, what a beautiful exhibit. This was actually my favorite place in the entire museum. The first thing that captured my eye, was the twenty feet DAVID towing over the garden. Even though it was not the original, it was radiant. His poise and grace just over took the outdoor quarter.
