INTRODUCTION
The business center is unique in its own way it comprises of a photocopying center with an internet services.
Since the invention of the first photocopier by Xerox in the 1960s the technology has been the base of a steady booming business. Even with home scanning and printing technology the cost of effective large scale business center creates a demand for the services.
The long term goal of the business is to provide high quality service to the resident/students within the environment where the business is located, meeting their various needs in online works, photocopying of materials for studies, seminar and project work etc.
LOCATION
The business is located within the premises of the university of Benin Edo State Nigeria.
THE COMPANY The business is an internet service provider, photocopying of student materials for lecture, seminar work and project binding, research works and other basic needs of the customer within the environment.

OUR SERVICES/ MARKET
The business provides the basic need of the students within the school premises and with the best qualities.
FINANCIAL CONSIDERATION
The current financial plan for the business centre is to obtain grant funding in the amount of 600000, or to seek for loan from any financial institute. The grant will be used purchase the required equipments such as desktop system, modem, photocopying machine, a printer, scanner, and other required equipments that is of importance to the business.
OBJECTIVE
To provide the highest quality full services to our customers.
Developing a sustainable service-based company surviving off its own cash flow.
MISSION
Our mission is to provide the customer with whatever type of services they need from us the best way. The company will exist to attract and maintain customers.

REASON WHY WE ENTERED THE BUSINESS
The reason why we entered the business is basically to make profits, because its services are demanding in our environment.
To keep customers abreast with information within and outside the shores of the country and to broadened the knowledge of students/customers with the provision of functional internet services which also aid students to necessary assignments, research for seminar and project work.
To help students in the provisions of complete already made lecture note/materials.
To create an enabling environment/atmosphere where customers can share their thought on issues bothering them in academics, health and social life and this can be achieved by creating a healthy and friendly relationship with the customers.
And this is a major key that will make the business outstanding from that of the competitors

REASON WHY THIS BUSINESS CENTRE IS A VIABLE BUSINESS
The aim of sorting for a viable business is to show that while solving the problems of unemployment, an entrepreneur can harness latent opportunities and be aware of the limitation and threats of an already established business.
Business center is a viable business because most business uses its product and services.
Business Centre is a viable business because in the society we are in today, it gives all the need to exchange ideas which give rise to a scientific community that functioned without geographical constraint and this can be put on print since memorization is no longer required for the communication and processing of ideas.
It is viable because students and lecturers print or photocopy lecture materials for learning and also on daily basis students tends to sort for information online for research purposes which could be use for project or seminar work.
It is also viable because to an extent, it is not seasonal in the sense that there is no period when there will be out of season. Reason been because we need books and materials in printed format, lecture note given by lecturers, online researches to keep ourselves updated because as they say learning never cease (we learn everyday ). It is also viable because we design invitation cards for occasion, greeting cards, magazines and school calendars which is commonly used.
It is also viable because other small business can be attached to it e.g. selling of snacks, soft drinks which also serve as a source of income to the entrepreneur.
The business is a sole proprietorship.
EXPECTED RETURN ON INVESTMENT
For an investment to be worthwhile, the expected return on capital must be greater than the cost of capital. The cost of capital is the rate of return that capital could be expected to earn in an alternative investment of equivalent risk. Expected return is not preferably reliable because it is calculated on estimate.
Entrepreneur must invest their resources in order to earn profit on their investment. Profitability can be measured using either income or rate of return.

CHALLENGES OF RUNNING A BUSINESS CENTRE

Thereare different challenges in running a business Centre which are as follows; * Financial challenges * Competitor challenges * Customer and human relationship * Locations * Environmental factor * Manpower * Powersupply
FINANCE
In establishing a business of this sort it requires a capital of at least 500000 also the entrepreneur has to be financial buoyant to meet up with the day to day running activity the ability of raising such fund is a problem, the high cost of equipment, maintenance and repairs.

COMPETITORS
This is one major challenge the entrepreneur will encounter in running the business in a location as such above with an existing competitorsand the ability to still make maximum profit in the mist of these competitors
CUSTOMERS RELATIONSHIP
Since we live in an environment where patient is the order of the day, it is very difficult to meet the demand of many customers who arealways in a hurry also a business is said to be successful only when the product and services are been patronized by many and it satisfy their basic need at that particular point in time. These pose a challenge on the entrepreneur.
Human relationship which is a key tool in the success of every entrepreneurcannot be under estimated in a business. Being able to manage the available customer, satisfy their needs in times that is not favorable to the entrepreneur is a challenge.

ENVIRONMENT
The business location and its Environment also pose a challenge to the entrepreneur and some of these environmental factors that contribute to the success of the business include;
Neatness of the environment, level of security, flooding when it rains and over population
MAN POWER
In operating this business the entrepreneur should have all the required skills before he can successfully go into the business. The skill on how to repair and maintain these machines to keep them in good condition will result in a great challenge in the business.
LOCATION
This is too a challenge, one success of a business is dependent on settling a good location and some factors have to be put in place when choosing a location, one of such is nearness to the raw materials and should be easily accessed by customers.

Nature of the market This service is to be marketed since it can satisfy the prospective customers. A good service can provide its own promotion since it guarantees maximum satisfaction but this service through marketing strategy by advertisement and promotions either through electronic media or printing media. Generally, service come in the form of intangible goods i.e. they have no physical attributes and as a result, they are impossible for customers to taste, feel, see, hear or smell before buying. This implies that a service offered to the market must command quality in such a way that customers get maximum satisfaction and guarantee the customer of existence of the service in the market, even in the face of threatening situations. In every business enterprise, the place of competition can never be over-emphasized. And more often than not this requires that a venture has to have value added service, quality, market friendliness and a host of other methods to outshine competitors if it must remain strong in business. One method that this enterprise intends to adopt is the use of prices on services rendered so that other competitors i.e. those outside this business that collect a higher fee can be reasonably displace. The plan of printing posters, flyers, to promote the business, predict-and-win promo, and monthly reward of recharge cards for every10 customers in a month etc. would create awareness and help attract customers. Another method is the “comfort and convenience” that this business affords and this serves as a strong selling point for our business. The use of industrial standing fan makes this possible and it is in contrary to a lot of others which do not give such comfort. An average of N500,000 (five hundred thousand naira) is realized monthly.
MARKET TARGET The potential customers are heterogeneous, customers consisting of students and staff and other individuals residing within these environments which differ in terms of socio-economic value such as age, income, educational attainment, marital status etc. The target market is mostly densely populated with staff. There is a plan of getting a means of satisfying customers in order to encourage patronage.

Public relations are organized communications and relationships with its customers with employers, stock holders, suppliers, government agencies and community in which it operates. We are going to maintain a good relationship with our customers by making sure that they receive best treatment under a conducive environment at an affordable price they can leave satisfied.

SOLUTIONS TO THE CHALLENGES In order to meet up with computer challenge, we first of all know their weakness and strength and see how we can utilize their weakness for our best use. That is, a competitor not having a place where customer will sit when they come to do their work or a competitor not rendering all the services the business is supposed to render like spiral binding, making of complimentary cards and invitation cards, internet services etc. Getting a well-powered generator that will be able to run the business when the power is out. Operating the machine as instructed by the manufacturer and also being able to detect little fault in continuous services of the machine on regular basis for prolong stay. The entrepreneur should acquire basic skills that are need for running the business and should be able to carry out minor repairs in the equipment to save the cost of paying for some services of an engineer Firstly, the place should be cleaned and well arranged to entice a customer to patronize your business. Also, attention should be given to a customer in even if you are rendering the least service to him for this will make the customer want to patronize your business and serve as an advertiser to your business as the saying goes “satisfied customer is your best advertiser”. Messages through emails, newsletters, text, publicity material such as handbills and posters should be sent to customers. After the business has been set up, how to market it is a challenge since it is impossible for a customer to taste or smell a service before they buy it. It might not be a very large space. The entrepreneur should be well organized in arranging materials and equipment needed for the business in a neatly manner.

The business offers services like photocopying, internet services, lamination, binding of book, printing and typing (typesetting).
In the student environment such opportunities present itself depending on the need for the product and services.
In the environment, the product and services which the business offers are of great importance; most students make photocopy of textbooks due to financial constrains, photocopy of lecture note given by a lecturer, printed work, seminar and project work and internet services.
Students also visit the internet site for online course registration, clearance for fresh students, and information on scholarships
Internet services are also invaluable sources of information (news)

Findings 4.3 Interislander Ferry Service 4.4.1 The Interislander is fully recognized by the tourism industry for Picton, it is the major draw card for tourists to enjoy and to participate in ferry event that is unique to New Zealand. 4.4.2 The one drawback is that in speaking with tourism operators of the Interislander ferry service, they wish to satisfy clients with their friendly hospitality e.g. quality meals, affordable priced foods, cuisine amidst stunning New Zealand scenery in order to increase more tourism for businesses within...
