...Nonparametric Hypothesis Test:. Research can be focused in a number of ways, to help refine our topic to a point where we have clear hypotheses statements. If the housing industry was determined to be doing better than the rest of the economy, a hypothesis test might be in order, with mean prices greater than other housing industries. The test to determine the difference is the one sample run (Wald- Wolfowitz test to determine the mean prices to be equal to each home cost (Doane & Seward, 2007). However, March home sales were higher than expected. Our Presidents recent trip aboard has secured enough raw material and additional energy products to secure the USA zone of growth for 100 years. We believe America remains at the top of the economic world and by far the most secure in the housing industry recovery (Dohrmann B, 2011). More often than not, homeowners has maximize their time and search for the best sales for homes by searching information about homes sales and choices(Rosales L. 2011). The housing industry can also find the best buyer’s options that are available to him or her in a similar way that real estate agencies can seek the best sales on homes. However, the homes of the homeowners in the housing industry are set by the regional, state, and local expectations of the buyers and not so much by differences in qualifications of the homeowners. There are still a bright light in our housing futures across the nation (Rosales L, 2011) When the housing...

...The Entrepreneurial Leadership Abstract Entrepreneurship is defined as “the willingness to take risks”. (Kurtz, 2010 p.182). The people who make entrepreneurship happen are those who “seek a profitable opportunity and take the necessary risks to set up and operate a business” who are known as entrepreneurs. (Kurtz, 2010 p.182). In this assignment, we will analyze the different leadership styles of the well know entrepreneurs, Thomas Edison who was an American scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur, and Anita Roddick who is the founder of The Body Shop and encourages social responsibility in a number of facets. In addition, we are going to discuss the major business principles these entrepreneurs used to achieve their goals. Presently, entrepreneurship has become increasing encouraged because of the chance of job security and financially stability; enhance their quality of life, Entrepreneurship starts with a vision to change society, a culture, the world, or just a single person’s life, with a product or service and Anita Roddick had a vision to make a profitable business. Entrepreneurism is a curious thing. When one man has a dream, he goes out and converts that dream into a reality. For centuries, this has been the American way. There are several questions an entrepreneur has to ask himself, though; first, will I be making profit? No one wants to go into business to waste his time or money. Second, an entrepreneur must ask himself if he is being socially...

...Learning Team Reflection Week 4 How does the development of a contract administration plan affect a company’s business? A contract administration plan is critical to the success of a company that relies on complex contracts to conduct operations. A contract by definition is a binding agreement between two or more parties. The parties may be individuals, business entities, or a governmental entity. Before a contract is drawn up negotiations occur where one party offers a product or service under precise terms for a set fee. Most contracts cover a specific time frame. The bigger and more complex the product or service, the more a contract administration plan is necessary. The plan keeps detailed notes on milestones, deadlines, and the submission of any deliverables. The ultimate goal of a contract administration plan is to provide company’s involved in the contact agreements with maximum profit with minimal risk. The development of a contract administration plan affects a company’s business because it helps companies manage projects, original documents, costs, deadlines, and spending. Proper contract management “saves time and money when change orders are requested or claims or prepared.” (Cross,2012). The information found regarding preparing a contract administration plan, states that the company has the ability to focus on the major contract outputs and best practices. It is the road map to ensure that the company receives all that is stated in the contract from the...

Nonparametric Hypothesis Testing

...Nonparametric Hypothesis Testing RES/342 Nonparametric Hypothesis Testing During the course of the last three weeks, the team explored the hypothesis testing segment of statistics research. The first part of this assignment was the one sample hypothesis testing. The second was the two or more sample hypothesis testing, and finally in this third week, we will look at nonparametric hypothesis testing. This week’s project is a continuation of the previous projects and entails to build on the identical research question that we will frame a research hypothesis from the same provided data sets (Wage and Wage Earners) using ratio or interval numerical data; however, this week we will use a nonparametric hypothesis test to find our answer. In the next following paragraphs, the team will clearly affirm a hypothesis statement that will provide the base for our survey, perform a five-step hypothesis test on information concerning our choice and apply the concepts of nonparametric testing learned in this course, and describe how the results of our findings answer our research question. Finally, we will conclude this study with a brief summary that will examine the main points, the purpose, and conclusions of this final third week’s study on nonparametric testing. Perform the five-step hypothesis test on the data Nonparametric tests are statistical tests that analyze data that does not require assumptions about the distribution of shape of the population from...

... Race and Crimes Raymond Washington Strayer University CRJ 105 Crime And Criminal Behavior Dr. Robert Roth October 19, 2015 In America today race plays a major role on how disciplines of criminology and criminal justice are used. Especially for African Americans who made up roughly 27 percent of arrest in the United States which is 1 out of 4 of every young black male. Research shows that this problem it’s only becoming worse and the outcome of a racist criminal justice system could lead to more unwarranted arrest. Race is a relatively arbitrarily social defined status. In the United States race and ethics classification system have inherent a problem of biased, racial profiling and discrimination. This contention revolves on why and how some racial minorities has been over the years, which as led to a persistently disproportionate representation in the natures crime figures including the prison population. For example, arrest for violent crimes in 2002 were a disproportionately 38 percent for Black whose portion of the National for population according to the 2000 census data, stood at 12.3 percent. Also race plays a part in how policing and racial profiling to sentences and corrections are conducted. An example of racial profiling comes in from Maryland (Prince Georges County) according to The Washington Post reported that, "in May 2001 federal prosecutors charged a county police officer with releasing her police dog on an unarmed Mexican immigrant as part of a...

Re: Discussion - Week 4

...Ashlee Ford April 20, 2011 Margaret Sofianos Essay Assignment What is the difference between strict and limited inerrancy? Which seems more convincing? Why? What is the significance of seeing different genres in the Bible? In this module, we look at the Christian view of the scriptures, and revelation sections. Here they discuss the problems with revelations, the definition of a scripture, the problems with scriptures, etc. My take on this, is that the scriptures are all witness testimony, which means they are opinionated. To some, that could be the problem. The difference between strict and limited inerrancy is with strict inerrancy, it demonstrates the view that there are no mistakes in the bible, while limited inerrancy leaves room for the possibility of mistakes within the scriptures. The significance of seeing different genres in the bible is to see scripture readings with a fresh eye, and to discover the different ways that testimonies were put together. The genre of the bible is basically biblical answers. “Inerrant” is a word that means “incapable” of making a mistake. And it refers to the belief that God protected the biblical authors from making mistakes (pg. 212). I don’t really agree with this because I believe that everything in the bible (well scripture wise anyways) is a witness testimony. John, Paul, Matthew and Luke all wrote down the events of what happened, and its how they took things. Twenty people could view the same event, and all...
