The Problem and Its Background
Introduction:
A true education must be a powerful force to bring about desired change. It is education and education alone that can bring about changes in knowledge, skills, attitude, appreciation and understanding things around us. That is why it is very saddening that since 1991 it has been stated that the quality of education is deteriorating and continuously lowering down as time passes by. What is even more saddening is that all the pointing fingers are towards our educators. Since the keystone in the educational edifice is doubtless the teachers. On him depends much more than any other, the progress and prosperity of children. Nobody can effectively take his place or influence children in the manners or degree; it is possible, for him alone to do. It is strongly believed that be a teacher is to be a member of holy order. That is why instead of putting all the blame to them why not try to investigate and find ways on how to help them achieve the kind of lifestyle they deserve. Why not try to know the things that my satisfied them with their noble job Since according to Rao, R. B. 1989, the quality on effectiveness of teachers is considered to be associated with his satisfaction towards his profession. Job satisfaction represents the considerations of person’s attitude towards or about the job. In general, job satisfaction is the attitude towards the job as a whole. Job satisfaction is a function of satisfaction with different aspect of the job. The traditional model of job satisfaction is that it is consist of the total body of feeling that an individual has about his job. This total body of feeling involves in effect his personal factors (such as age, gender, civil status, number of children, race and others) and job factors such as (pay, promotion, loads of teaching, relationship with his superior and

In most health care settings, nurses hold the majority of positions, and replacement of an licensed personnel can be costly, time consuming, and difficult due to staff shortages. These factors are leading to a decrease in job satisfaction, as they are a major cause of burnout rates within the health care profession. The focus of this study is to explore the career plans, satisfaction levels and professional concerns of registered nurses (RNs), specifically within the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. Through the use of a interviewed survey, this study will explore what significant number of nurses will choose to seek employment outside of nursing, shift to part-time positions, further their education in the nursing field, retire, or alter their career plans is some way. It will also look at what sort of turnover should be expected among nursing staff, if there is a perceived shortage of professionals in their field, and whether they would recommend nursing as a career to others. To asses job satisfaction, “Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS; Spector, 1997)”, and for motivation, “Motivation at Work Scale (MAWS, Gagné, M., et.al, 2010)”, were used. The sample of the study consists of 80 middle managers (46 males; 34 females) from different banks of Karachi, Pakistan. A Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient was calculated for the correlation between the work motivation and job satisfaction. In order to find out gender differences t test was computed. In conclusion, the findings of the study suggest that there was a positive correlation between work motivation and job satisfaction.
