Most students by now have met Pastor Bernard Cueto or Bernie as he is often called. Unless of course they are new students that are already procrastinating on their chapel credits. On campus he is known as the campus pastor, a professor, and to many a mentor.
Born and raised in beautiful Miami, Florida; Bernie’s childhood was filled with memories of playing barefoot outside with his friends until it was dark. Interestingly, he grew up in a Cuban and non-believing Catholic family in a predominantly Jewish neighborhood. They were the only Hispanics in the entire neighborhood.
