I visit a big shopping mall of my area and what I noticed there is their interesting promotional activity. The first Floor of the store was for the beauty products. There was very interesting beauty products promotional activity that I notice and I impressed a lot. What I see that there are multiple brands of beauty products available in store and every brand has their own promotional girl who applies the beauty and makeup products on customers face or give them an opportunity for trial at their own. This helps the customers to make the decision of buying those products from which they feel satisfied. Such type o marketing strategy is known as experiential marketing (Schmitt, 2000)

This promotional activity benefits the retailor in many ways. It helps retailors to boost the sale. It also assist the retailors to satisfy the customers as well as it increase the percentage of loyalty of customers. It is because customers always like to test those beauty products that they tried once. It helps customers to decide about their desired products. And in future customers always like shopping in such retail store who adopts experiential marketing strategy for the sale of products. In other point of view it helps retailer to decide which products are demanded most by the customers.

There are few other stores who are using experiential marketing for the sale of beauty products. Experiential marketing is very useful way to boost the sale level. It is good way to enhance customer’s loyalty. In case of products of makeup or beauty it is more benefited because customers never want to take any experience for their skin. It is because it is most sensitive and apparel part of body.
Other competitors may also use these tactics to improve their sales and customers trust and loyalty. It builds the long term good relationship with your customers. In this modern era customers

This paper presents the results of the first large-scale comparison of online and offline prices simultaneously collected from the websites and physical stores of 56 large multi-channel retailers in 10 countries. I find that price levels are identical about 72% of the time for the products sold in both locations, with significant heterogeneity across countries, sectors, and retailers. The similarity is highest in electronics and clothing and lowest for drugstores and office-supply retailers. There is no evidence of prices varying with the location of the ip address or persistent browsing habits. Price changes are un-synchronized but have similar frequencies and average sizes.
