Through the use of rhetorical question, parallelism, and antithesis, Elie Wiesel was able to make his message powerful and persuasive. The world has changed, but terrorism hasn’t. Elie was able to inspire people to support the fight against terrorism. A terrorist group named ISIS has grown recently in 2016/2017. They have done attacks in France (Nice: Drove a cargo truck into crowds), Germany ( Berlin: Anis Ami hijacked a Polish truck in Berlin and drove into a Christmas market killing a lot of people) and many more. This has led to a strong support of fighting against terrorists. The U.S has multiple policies like opposing states that sponsor terrorists, preventing terrorist groups from acquiring weapons, and promoting democracy in the Middle
