Robin Steadman was born in 1978 and his formative years were between 1985 – 1994. His family consisted of four people, his mom, dad and his brother, Chris, who is two and a half years older than him. A typical day for him consisted of him waking up in the morning and getting ready for school because his parents were both already off to work in the morning. To get to school he had to ride a school bus to go all the way across town. When he got home from school his dad was home from work and he would usually go to one of his friend’s houses and hang out until it was time to eat.

His mom did pretty much all of the cooking for their family. Some days they ate as a family and others they didn’t because they had a lot of things going on in terms of sports and not being home at the same time every night. So on any given night they might have been scattered around eating in different places in the house and at different times.
One thing that he remember was when he was in the 5th grade the Berlin Wall came down. They did a big lesson on the differences of the two sides of the wall. It was a fun way to learn about what those people were feeling and what they had to go through.
In terms of National events he remembered the election in 1992 where Bill Clinton was elected. It was a really interesting election in that he came out of nowhere to win the presidency. The Presidents when he was young were Ronald Reagan, George Bush and Bill Clinton. He really didn’t care who was president back then and still doesn’t care about politics or even cares to know what kind of presidents we have.
He really didn’t fear anything when he was young, there really wasn’t any war or terrorism back then and crime is something that he didn’t know too much
