1.a) This scene was the balcony scene, when Romeo talks to himself as he looks at Juliet. Romeo repeats the light and dark images he introduced when he saw Juliet for the first time. Romeo compares Juliet to the sun because, he thinks that Juliet is as something really bright as the sun that can light up so much and can “break” the “window”(2.2 Line 2) .

b) Romeo wants the sun which is Juliet to “kill the envious moon”(2.2 Line 4) which is Rosaline because, as he found his new love, he wants to forget Rosaline who is “pale” (2.2 Line 5) and fall only in love with Juliet.

c) The moon is classified as envious because, it is compared to Rosaline.

d) Romeo compares Juliet's eyes to the stars as they are bright like the “heaven”(2.2 Line 15),
