I was capable of getting assignments like essays, short stories, and poems completed, but not necessarily enjoying the process it took to get there. Everything changed when I took a writing workshop as an elective class in high school. In all honesty, I took the class because I felt as though I was a good enough writer to do well and not have much to worry about.
