Funciones de Ventas

Las organizaciones al igual que sus empleados se mantienen a la vanguardia en cuanto a los cambios, expectativas y seguridad que éstas le puedan ofrecer. Por tal motivo las compañías han demostrado un interés predominante en el desarrollo y bienestar de sus empleados, innovación en productos o servicios y como última rama en sus clientes. Para lograr los objetivos y metas éstas deben guardar una relación directa con la preparación y una comunicación eficaz con sus empleados. Una vez se logre este compromiso y balance, la compañía puede proceder a desarrollar estrategias dirigidas al consumidor. Debemos tener en consideración que muchas de las compañías se enfocan en la innovación de productos y se olvidan del mayor recurso empresarial, sus empleados, estos también buscan su desarrollo profesional, lo cual podría ser un bien adquisitivo y valioso para la competencia. Su primer párrafo no introduce el tema de este ensayo.

Como ejemplo tenemos la compañía Colombina SA, con subsidiaria en Puerto Rico, una empresa que aprovechó la riqueza natural y agrícola del Valle del Cauca; sus cálidas temperaturas, la calidad y la fertilidad de sus suelos, para convertirse en una de las más grandes productoras de dulces de América Latina. La empresa logró introducir algunos de sus principales productos en el mercado extranjero, modificándolos acorde a las exigencias de ese consumidor.

Colombina es una Compañía Global enfocada en cautivar al consumidor con alimentos prácticos y gratificantes, fundamentada en el bienestar y compromiso de su capital humano, en el desarrollo de marcas líderes y productos innovadores de alto valor percibido, dirigidos a la Base del Consumo a través de una comercialización eficaz.

Colombina para el 1970 ya producía unos 25 millones de libras. En ese año Colombina ocupó el segundo lugar en la exportación de dulces hacia los Estados Unidos. Para el 2001 establecen una planta en Guatemala, siendo ésta el eje de la distribución de dulce en todo centro América y el Caribe. Actualmente, Colombina comercializa diferentes productos tales como; galletas, barquillos, dulces, chocolates pasabocas, van camps (Productos enlatados), y productos de café.

Los objetivos estratégicos de la compañía Colombina, principalmente se enfocan en el crecimiento financiero, conquistar al consumidor con productos de primera calidad. El satisfacer las expectativas de servicio de los clientes y ser una empresa de alta efectividad en la administración de recursos son otras de las muchas características que distinguen a esta compañía.

La compañía está enfocada a trabajar en equipo en todas sus subsidiarias las cuales están localizadas alrededor del mundo. A la vez Colombina, es una compañía comprometida con sus empleados, auspiciadores y consumidores. Orientados en dar el máximo en sus productos a nuestros consumidores, con productos eficientes y de primera calidad. Por otro lado nuestra compañía se enfoca en la creatividad e innovación de nuevos productos para el mercado global.

Para lograr posicionarse como líderes en el mercado, no solo bajo la integración e innovación de nuevos productos sino con la sociedad en lograr un posicionamiento como marca reconocida en la mente de los consumidores. Se desarrolló programas específicamente dirigidos a la recordación de marca.

Para poder atraer nuevos clientes a la compañía y así poder aumentar el número de ventas, la administración utiliza varias funciones de ventas. Funciones de ventas que podríamos definirlas como aquellas que influencian a clientes a comprar los productos de la compañía y así generar ventas. En adición, el apoyo a las actividades de mercadeo es una de las principales funciones de ventas tales como, publicidad, ventas promocionales, ventas personales y relaciones públicas. Todas estas funciones ayudan a la compañía a generar ganancias.

Cabe destacar que la relación entre las funciones de ventas y las funciones sin ventas son directamente proporcionales una con la otra. Colombina utiliza todas sus funciones, una a favor de la otra. Las funciones de no ventas tales como funciones de recursos humanos, inventario, estratégicas y financieras afectan las funciones de ventas para incrementar la rentabilidad de la compañía. Como ejemplo, las funciones de recursos humanos y de la organización, son valores claves para apoyar a los empleados en su desempeño para alcanzar los objetivos de ventas.

Colombina es una empresa que está comprometida en ofrecer una calidad de producto de consumo a sus clientes y los está logrando con la ayuda de gente talentosa, una administración cualificada y responsabilidad social. Otro ejemplo podría ser las funciones estratégicas. Para aumentar las ventas de la compañía y utilizar las funciones de ventas en una forma efectiva, Colombina está en la toma de rediseñar ciertos productos que a su vez esta pueda impactar a los consumidores. Esta función estratégica influye en las funciones de ventas de la compañía.

Las funciones de ventas también son afectadas por inventarios de funciones administrativas. Mas ventas mejoran el inventario, en cambio menos ventas podrían modificar ciertas negociaciones de ventas. La calidad y la variedad de los productos los cuales los precios son costo efectivos también podrían afectar las funciones de ventas de una forma positiva.

La compañía ha aumentado las variaciones de sus productos utilizando productos innovadores y a la misma vez proveyendo facilidades de conseguirlos en más puntos de ventas llegando a sus consumidores finales. En este interés, el departamento de mercadeo ha logrado un estudio para determinar el objetivo del mercado apropiado. En adición, las funciones estratégicas ayudan a la compañía a remover productos los cuales no han sido exitosos en ventas.
