Background / Secondary research
There are some information about young smokers and why do they start smoking of three websites, such as Ash.org.uk (2014), Helpwithsmoking (2014), www.cancer.org (2014). This essay will compare and contrast those informations.
With respect to all of three websites pointed out that most people start smoking when they was at teenages. Ash.org.uk (2014) and cancer.org (2014) showed that people start smoking because of many reasons, that is : Parental and sibling smoking, smoking by friends and peer group members, by tobacco marketing. Next to all of this reason, there are another reason diffirent from aboves article that is by peer pressure is an important part make people start smoking ( Helpwithsmoking 2014) while ash.org.uk (2014) and cancer.org (2014) mentioned that parental and sibling smoking is the main reason make teenages start smoking. Moreover, helpwithsmoking (2014) and cancer.org (2014) argues that teenages think smoke can help them make a new friends easier than those who do not smoke. Furthermore, cancer.org (2014) and helpwithsmoking (2014) showed that Advertising on TV and media have been banned for many years. It is pointed out, People who experiment with cigarettes can quickly become addicted to the nicotine in tobacco. (canncer.org 2014) and (ash.org.uk 2014)

The information is takend from result showed that most of people start smoking because of peer pressure, it is difference from article’s information, which is pointed out that the main reason make people start smoke is because of their parent and sibling who smokes. Moreover, there are the lowest percentages of people start smoking by family influence while article’s research is the highest. In my opinion, i totally agree with information from the result is taken from surveymonkey.com, because teenages will tend to do what they feel strange and want to do the different things that they havenot done before, so they will try to smoke if they curiosity. Furthemore, when they feel pressure, they lost control themself then try to do something they havenot done before to feel fun, but the reseach showed that when people start smoking, it will very quickly make people become addicted to the nicotine in tobacco, so they are addict of cigarettes and that is the reason a lot of people still smoking (75%)
