Samuel Maverick shows his loyalty to both his wife, through their marriage, and his loyalty to fighting for a good cause. Samuel maverick was married to a woman named marry Ann Adams in February of 1836. They were fully apart of each others lives and maverick would let his wife have a say in quite a few things. He was such a good man to her that once he died of an illness, she fought long and hard to keep his legacy alive. This shows us Samuels loyalty to his wife because he never left her and made her happy, so much that she wanted to keep his spirit alive.
