San Diego versus New York
Much of society believes that New York is the place to be, however majority of civilization has yet to see what San Diego has in store for tourists and potential residents alike. Despite much belief San Diego has always been a city unparalleled by any other. Granted that New York is a city that is amazingly beautiful, but it cannot compare to a location that is much more relaxed and does not have the buzz and humdrum of a “city that never sleeps”. San Diego is a city that many people would never leave and not just because of its pleasurable weather, but also because of its location and the simple escape from the crowded feeling of New York. There are many reasons that sunny San Diego is chosen as one of the greatest cities ever, and out of all of those reasons the pleasurable weather is one of the most important. There is no city like San Diego, and despite the brief span of winter, it is almost always sunny in sunny San Diego. It is commonly known that San Diego has long summers and short winters. The weather is almost always like a warm embrace on a relaxing day off. The weather can hardly be described as bipolar or extreme like that of New York. Is San Diego much warmer and more pleasurable than New York? Although many people believe New York is the best place to be it can be a cold and heartless place that is not kind to the weak who prefer a day’s embrace than the metal cold of a “tin” city. There is very little cold weather in San Diego and despite New York's fame it will never feel as good as walking outside to a warm summer day that is common in San Diego. There are not many times you hear about how great a location in reference to a city. However there is a vital point to be made when comparing San Diego’s Location to New York’s location. Now it is common knowledge that both locations are on opposite sides of the United States, and they are both in coastal states. However the problem with New York is that given its location it is subject to many bursts of extreme weather. Whereas San Diego is subject to one main type of weather and that’s warm days. Another benefit of living in San Diego is that on the days where it is simply too hot to anything, the beach is always a stone’s throw away. Whereas in comparison to New York which is mainly known for its tall metallic buildings and its lack of nature. As such this means that when in New York and it is too hot the only outlet for an individual is their Air Conditioner which can't match the cool breeze of the beach and the feeling as an oceans wave crashes upon an individual's skin. The basic question boils down to the choice of nature less blocked out or the full uninhibited form of nature? To those who enjoy nature and a location without many metal altercations then San Diego is the best choice. So despite much deliberation San Diego’s location is one that is unrivaled to many. There is much that can attract an individual to the New York area however there is one major factor that can drive many people away and that is the humdrum of a “city that never sleeps”. To elaborate, there are many ways that the phrase a city that never sleeps can be interpreted. However this is meant in the sense that it is a crowded place that not many individuals can thrive in. There are thousands upon thousands of people who tread towards New York in the hopes of becoming something much more than a lowly individual who is not recognized. However San Diego has plenty of room for individuals who are artistic, who are conservative, and for those who wish to make something of them in area where there is room to breathe. San Diego a city that is not nearly as cold and heartless as the tin city that is constantly referred to as the “City That Never Sleeps”. What would any individual who wishes for peace and solitude with the ability to make something of them wish for San Diego or New York? This is a simple solution for those who wish for relaxation in an area that does not cause stress and that is San Diego. There are many circumstances where New York is the most beautiful place that anyone can visit, however the much under credited city of San Diego holds so much more beauty and things of that nature than New York. Many people can opt for New York but San Diego is much better than New York. There are factors like location, weather, and the populace of each area. However San Diego is the number one city for individuals who want to get away from the cold dark city that may be beautiful but is not right for everyone.
