” During this time her youngest son had down syndrome. Sarah Palin saw this as an opportunity to speak out about her thoughts on abortion. She had rallies and interviews where she explains that she is pro life. She believes that every life is important and that abortion is murder (Palin, 183-185).
Life was difficult in the Palin household. But she believes that with her family, hope and time she made it through her hard times (Palin, 99). No matter how popular or successful Sarah Palin got, she was just a normal person, with family problems. The novel as a whole really illuminates how beautiful and tragic America can be. it shows raw emotions of Sarah Palin and how she believes that other citizens felt through these difficult times.

She thanks her friends and family for rooting her on in writing her book. She states that she could have not written parts of the novel without the veterans, and past and present patriots who she believes are the true heroes. She thanks attorney Robert and the Harper Collins team for assistance with the book. And Lastly Jessica Gavora who helped her with her novel. The book was very reliable because throughout the novel she quotes from the constitution and other important documents, that helped her back up her beliefs. There were some bias in it when it came to her family. When her daughter tried to redeem herself publicly about being a single parent, she never saw her daughter as being hypocritical.
