Overview
The purpose of this project is to demonstrate your mastery of the implementation, design and analysis skills learned from the course. You will analyze a large dataset in both an Excel spreadsheet and an Access database. You will produce a PowerPoint presentation to showcase your analysis. You will submit several files as part of your project solution: 1. The original dataset you download. 2. The Excel spreadsheet used to analyze the data set. 3. The Access database used to query the data set. 4. The PowerPoint presentation that summarizes your analysis.
The files you submit may not be files you have previously submitted in this course or any other. All work contained in the Excel, Access or PowerPoint files must be your own work.

Groups
This assignment was designed to be an individual assignment, however, you may find it helpful to complete the assignment with one partner. You may choose a partner from either section of the class this semester; you do not need to attend the same section as your partner. If you complete the project with a partner: * you should not divide the project by task so that one partner completes one group of tasks while the second partner completes a different set of tasks. This will put both partners at a disadvantage for exams. Instead, both partners should complete each task together. Alternatively, each partner could complete the project individually and then partners could compare answers. If one partner has a better grasp of a given topic, that person should try to help his/her partner understand that topic better. * both partners’ names should appear on the first slide of the PowerPoint presentation. * all files, except the original data set, should be named after both students’ PIDs. * both partners should submit the project solution to their own
