Implication of the Assigned Report to Education
Prepared by: Maria Michelle L. Arevalo – MAED (EM)

Topic: EM 203 - School Seats and Tables, Storage and Displays; School Equipment; Fittings, Fixtures and Furnishings; Instructional Devices
The quality of a school’s environment and its facilities has a strong influence on students’ learning and this implication examines the school (First Crayons Learning Center, Antipolo City) where I’m presently employed and its importance to teaching and learning in the school system. It begins with a brief overview of our development site and plan, and relates it to educational planning. It has been observed that many schools are now paying more attention to their school plant. School plant which includes all educational facilities has been repeatedly found to have a positive relationship with quality of education.
Education today is delivered in an entirely new manner, with new tools, techniques, teaching methods, and changes in teaching methods require changes in school facilities.
As I went through my report, I can say that a school plant: * will gear up expected outcomes of education, that will facilitate good social, political and economic freedom; * initiates effective teaching and learning and academic performance of students; * is an essential aspect of educational planning because unless schools are well suited, buildings are satisfactorily constructed and equipment adequately provided, much teaching and learning may not take place. * needs to be evaluated, not only on how it meets changing educational requirements, but also on how it meets the environmental requirements for health, safety, and security.
The first time I received the topic for my report, honestly, I just took it very ordinarily not knowing that this will unveil vast knowledge of how from a small fittings to furnishings and devices

Importance of Educational Facilities Ii

...complete facilities they will gain great achievement and could help the students boost their performance. And having a good facility appear to be an important requirement for student learning, provided that the other conditions are present that support a strong academic program in the school. Also, they ensure the safety of the students by constructing their buildings to satisfy high-level earthquake resistance standards. The buildings are designed to minimize structural damage in the event of an earthquake. So that, the students will not be worried about their safety anymore and they can concentrate their minds in studies. Today, the government of the Philippines was creating new government that aims to focus on the education of their citizens. The Philippines have started to implement a new educational system which is the compulsory K-12 educational system that includes the new curricula for all schools (Wikipedia, March 10, 2014). It aims to fully enhance and develop the students in order for them to be well-prepared especially in emotional and cognitive aspects, and to uplift the quality of education in the Philippines to meet the standards required for professionals (eldevenir-neocoach.blogspot.com, March 10, 2014). ...in the case of an emergency. The business needs to be constantly thinking about the safety of their employee’s and how to keep them safe. ✓ This can be as little as a wet floor sign. The emergencies that businesses need to deal with are things like fires, power cuts and floods ect… With a fire for example GCC will have fire extinguishers around the buildings, they will also practice fire drills where they will practise how to get out of the building and where they go to so they can make sure everyone can get out of the building safely. This can improve the performance of GCC because they will be able to successfully take care of all the students and employees in the case of the emergencies that they have prepared for.✓ Plant and Machinery Plants and machinery are usually things that businesses buy or rent and the business will only get these things if they are necessary to the business. For glossopdale these will be things like boilers, internet routers and ICT technology. Instead of investing large sums of money in machinery some businesses will lease them for cheaper. The advantages of this is that if the machinery breaks the company they leased it off will repair or replace them at a cheaper cost than if GCC owned them. The physical resources are not all...

Eight Ways to Go Green

...Walking or biking is ideal to get to your job or go to school. Not only is this healthy for the environment, but for you too. If you have to drive, then try to get a group of friends together to cut down on everyone driving separately. Even if you don't want to admit to trying to help the Earth, you have to agree that traveling in a group is WAY more fun than alone. Not only that, but you can cut down on the cost of gas if everyone chips in. 2.) Recycle Smart From electronics to clothing, one person's trash is another person's treasure. Everything can be recycled and should be. If your neighborhood does not do recycling, then petition your county and local governments to get it started. Your school should also recycle and if they don't, talk to the school board. Just one person can make a difference and the result is astounding. 3.) Save Energy Use as much natural light as possible. If you use indoor lights, than only use what is necessary. If you are stepping out of a room for more than 15 minutes, turn off the lights. Refrigerators eat up the most electricity in the household, so maximize efficiency by keeping the fridge at 37° F. and the freezer at 0° F. Also, wash your clothes in cold water whenever possible and use a drying rack or clothesline. Setting your thermostat a few degrees lower in the winter and a few degrees higher in the summer can translate to substantial savings on your utility bills. 4.) Plants Certain greens can help remove indoor air pollutants...

Electricity consumption from the five sectors (residential, commercial, transportation, industrial, and agricultural) were calculated using different models and assumptions. These values were projected to the year 2045 in order to predict the total electricity demand on the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly bases. There is an average of 262.28 MW demand from the computed consumptions which was translated to fuel requirements considering the existing, upcoming, decommissioning, and the reserve. A total of 284.77 MW plant capacity was calculated for 2045. Assuming that bituminous coal will be used as the main fuel for running a Coal-fired powerplant in the future, a fuel requirement of 12.25 kg/s was obtained. From the different types of the considered fuel sources and technologies, an underfed stoker...

Merloni

...9-690-003 REV: AUGUST 7, 2001 JANICE H. HAMMOND Merloni Elettrodomestici SpA: The Transit Point Experiment Dr. Vittorio Merloni was president of Merloni Elettrodomestici, a major Italian manufacturer of domestic appliances. On the evening of February 23, 1986, he stood in the doorway of his Milano warehouse and surveyed the scene before him. In front of him stretched a sea of people dressed in evening attire—over 1,000 in all, not including the catering staff and the comedians, dancers, and musicians who had been hired to entertain. Dr. Merloni’s guests were busy chatting, eyeing hors d’oeuvres, juggling drinks, sidling up to the sumptuous buffet table; few would have guessed that at that moment they were socializing in the warehouse that normally served one of the company’s highest demand regions. The warehouse had been artfully transformed by Marcello Grigorov—architect and set designer for the “Piccolo Teatro di Milano”—into a dinner theater and showroom for Merloni’s built-in appliance products. In keeping with the company’s advertising theme—emphasizing the built-in products’ beauty, durability, and adaptability to any setting—the walls of the exposition area were covered with posters depicting the appliances set in panoramic natural landscapes (see Exhibit 1), product displays were built into simulated-marble walls and counter tops, and the building was adorned with faux-marble columns and arches. Guests were greeted by Merloni billboards along the major routes leading...
