With four good resumes in consideration, hiring a sales manager to sell the latest fiber optics to leading wireless manufacturers of five key companies will be a difficult process. After reviewing the resumes several times, the person who is most qualified for the job is Jyoti. Jyoti who was Manager of Wireless Retail Store, she fills most if not all of the criteria’s for the job. She states that the revenues have risen 60% since her taken on the position. . Hiring him would be a risk and he can possibly end up being a liability to the company instead of an asset. Karen has been in sales for five years but only as a representative, as a business woman she has no experience and not sure she is ready to be a manager...
