(Kim) Hi everyone. We will start off by introducing ourselves. Today we are going to talk about relationship threats, which are challenges that have negative impacts and serious effects on relationships. Specifically, we will talk about relational transgression, interpersonal violence, and sexual coercion.. It’s important to learn about this topic because all of us have experienced it at some point. We also have done research outside from the textbook. (YAN) According to the National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey, one out of ten women has been raped by an intimate partner, and one out of ten men has experienced physical violence. This pie chart shows the distribution of threats, and according to the survey, we can see that 42% of all threats come from physical violence and rape.
Moving on to our first main point, relational transgression. Relational transgression takes place when fundamental relationship rules are violated. In romantic relationships, relational transgressions can include flirting, wanting to date others, forgetting special occasions, or committing infidelity. Within friendships, transgressions include betraying a confidence, dating a friend's current or ex-romantic partner, deception, and not standing up for a friend. These rules are unspoken, but people usually have these expectations when they enter into a relationship. Relational temptations are also part of

It can be used to automate tasks ranging from Windows Desktop Administration, to Microsoft Office Automation, to controlling and extracting information hosted by a 3270 emulation session for the Mainframe. All you need is an ASCII text file that ends in a “.VBS” extension and a little creativity. A few notes on the language itself:          Visual Basic Script Edition is a subset of the Visual Basic language. Comments are declared by a single apostrophe, such as: ' This is a VBSCRIPT comment. Variables can be declared using the DIM, PRIVATE, or PUBLIC keywords. Variables have no explicit data type. All data types are “variant” by default. The language is not case-sensitive, so “Acounter”, “ACounter and “aCounter” are considered to be the same variable name regardless of the mix of upper and lower case. Scope is declared using “keyword … END keyword” pairings, such as CLASS…END CLASS, SUB…END SUB, IF … END IF. The unit of program development is the SCRIPT file: an ASCII text file containing executable script statements. Statements are continued by leaving a space at the end of the line followed by an underscore. Strings are concatenated using the ampersand symbol as the concatenation operator. Unit 5 Research Paper for Intro to Programming

...NT 1310 | October 16 2014 | Phillip Wilson | Mr. Covington | A shell script is just a text file full of commands. It must be executable. A shell script is also a computer program designed to be run by the Unix shell, a command line interpreter. The various dialects of shell scripts are considered to be scripting languages. Typical operations performed by shell scripts include file manipulation, program execution, and printing text. Writing a shell script is much quicker than writing the equivalent code in other programming languages. The many advantages include easy program or file selection, quick start, and interactive debugging. A shell script can be used to provide sequencing and decision-making linkage around existing programs, and for moderately-sized scripts the absence of a compilation step is an advantage. Interpretive running makes it easy to write debugging code into a script and rerun it to detect and fix bugs. Non-expert users can use scripting to tailor the behavior of programs, and shell scripting provides some limited scope for multiprocessing. Most common usage methods of PowerShell are interactive console (powershell.exe) and script files (with extension of .ps1 that is also usually executed by powershell.exe). Main features of PowerShell are: .Net integration, object pipeline, easy access to many management domains (WMI, ADSI, COM, .NET etc.) and standardization that brings easy discovery and quick learning of new features after you know base functionality...

...Assignment 1 PT1420 * A shell script is a computer program designed to be run by the Unix shell, a command line interpreter. The various dialects of shell scripts are considered to be scripting languages. * Advantages of using shell script is that the commands and syntax are exactly the same as those directly entered at the command line. The programmer does not have to switch to a totally different syntax, as they would if the script were written in a different language, or if a compiled language was used. Often, writing a shell script is much quicker than writing the equivalent code in other programming languages. The many advantages include easy program or file selection, quick start, and interactive debugging. A shell script can be used to provide a sequencing and decision-making linkage around existing programs, and for moderately sized scripts the absence of a compilation step is an advantage. ...advantages is its ease of use. Another advantage is its quick start and interactive debugging. The most notable and major advantage for the use of shell scripting is it’s a time-saving tool for system administrators for the automation of tasks. By using the shell script, administrators are able to compile and automate task system wide and alleviating the need to access each workstation individually. Shell scripts can execute without any additional effort on nearly any modern UNIX / Linux / BSD / Mac OS X operating system as they are written an interpreted language. According to Microsoft’s TechNet website (2013), “Windows PowerShell® is a task-based command-line shell and scripting language designed especially for system administration. Built on the .NET Framework, Windows PowerShell helps IT professionals and power users control and automate the administration of the Windows operating system and applications that run on Windows”. ...Component Services focuses on the administration of COM+ applications. Developers use COM+ to develop distributed applications. Administrators use Component Services to manage those applications. An administrator receives a COM+ application file from a developer and then uses Component Services to deploy that application on a server computer. Next, the administrator configures permissions for the application, as well as other settings. As an administrator, you can deploy and administer COM+ applications in two primary ways. You can use the Component Services snap-in in Microsoft Management Console (MMC), or you can write scripts to automate deployment and administration. As an alternative to using the Component Services MMC snap-in, you can automate any of the tasks by writing code that uses administration objects that are provided through the COMAdmin Library dynamic-link library (DLL). For a description of how to use these objects, see "Automating COM+ Administration" on COM+ General Tasks (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=66607). For complete Component Services resources for developers, see COM+ (Component Services) (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=66575). Michael Landon Lifespan Paper

...Michael Landon 1 Lifespan Development and Personality Paper Chérie Brooks PSY200 Gerry Winters October 22, 2004 Michael Landon 2 Michael Landon was many things to many people. We all know him from the various popular television series he acted in as a moral, decent, kind, Christian man. For the most part this is who he was; however, Landon had another side to him that we, his audience, never got to witness. There were many forces, some good, and some bad, that influenced his life, morals, emotions, mind, and faith. Parental and social systems greatly affected his developmental growth and adjustment as well. Landon was born October 31, 1936, as Eugene Maurice Orowitz, the second and last child of Eli Orowitz and Peggy O’Neal. His mother was a former actress, comedian, rumored to be an ex-Ziegfield Follies girl and an Irish Catholic. His father was a publicity agent, theater manager, and a Jew. He had an older sister, Evelyn. Home life in the Orowitz family was not normal. There was high tension between his parents and he found them difficult to cope with. Landon suffered much heartache and trauma at the hands of his mother. She was depressed, suicidal, volatile, and abusive. As an adult, Landon was interviewed many times and quoted as saying this of his mother, “She was a stabber, a kicker, and a wacko” (landonland.com), and that she was “…off her rocker” (bonanzaworld.net). Looking back at his childhood, his memories of her were not fond. ...
