Writing • I will make the effort and finish my outline four days after it is assigned. • I will go in and meet with Mrs. Gregori before EACH essay or project and discuss with her my ideas so that I have enough time to modify my work in order to earn a more than acceptable grade (B or higher). • I will not, under any circumstances procrastinate when writing my essays. They will be completed 2 days before the due date so that I will not be the nervous, stressed out wreck that I usually am.

Reading • I will finish each book completely and will not wait until the last minute to start it. • I will set a standard of how many pages per night I will read so that I do not fall behind. • I will highlight and post-it all key points throughout the novel and take notes that will be helpful in writing my essay.

Discussion • I will make the greatest effort to speak at least one time each class period and will not be afraid to state my thought or opinion on any idea or topic. • I will be one of the first to speak in any Socratic seminar and will not wait until the very end to present my thought or idea.

Leadership • I will help any student that asks for my assistance and I will always try my hardest and work extremely hard to prove to Mrs. Gregori that I have earned the right to call myself an IB English student.
