The reason I chose this book to review is because I honestly had no idea what exactly is going on in Iraq. I know that the U.S. military has been there for quite some time and I know at one point there was a lot of controversy on whether to withdraw troops or not. This book seemed like it would give me insight on the situation within Iraq and why the U.S. is still in the Middle East.
