Selkbag is primarily intended to be used as a sleeping bag, and it is also very useful as a full body snowsuit. There are different selkbag designs, such as Lite, Realtree® Xtra® (camouflage), and Star wars. The Selkbag was created in 2006 by Rodrigo Alonso, as part of a family of innovative, fun, and highly useful products. The name Selkbag was inspired by the Selk'nam natives of Tierra del Fuego, Chile, people who dressed sparingly despite the cold climate of Patagonia.
Selkbag is a snowsuit and sleeping bag mixed into one, that allows for ease of mobility while sleeping, warmth during the day and night, and less things to carry for a traveller.
