1. The best method for Edward to involve each office is to have a committee team. Each office would have one representative which would bring information from each office team. Edward should use a questionnaire which should be sent to each office. The representative from the office gathers each of the questionnaires and have them consolidates the answers. The representative from the office will also gather any other information the team would like to identify as a group on what they need in a new system. After Edward has completed gathering the information from each of the 30 locations he can build a prototype of the website and present this to all the 30 trading offices via a Webinar to ensure all the requirements needed have been addressed.
2. Edward can get the customers involved by asking survey questions to their existing customers with specific questions to be answered. Edward can also have an interview meeting with their top clients and ask interview questions to gather more information which would affect John and Jacob’s customer service. Edward can send survey’s to each customer on the Customer list of John and Jacob’s group.
3. The other users Edward can consider would be the Management Users. The Management User he can ask questions to that relate to the type of reports them system needs to produce. Another question is how much information requested needs to be displayed and how often. Edward would also need to consider if this system needs to interface with other systems already in use. Edward should first consider all the stakeholders which need to be involved from the information Users, Management Users , Executive users or External Users. Edward needs to also include Technical Stakeholders to help understand different languages for computers, platforms and any other computer hardware or software which may be needed.
