Senior Speech
Assalamualaikum everyone,
This was my second year attending city of knowledge. It was a very different experience for me because I was in public school my entire life. I risked a lot to attend this school, my class rank in my previous school, my friends, amongst other things. But it was all worth it. And it's a huge blessing to have friends with the same faith. At times I was sick of the school, but the students at the school made school worth coming to. From elementary to high school, the smiles and laughter I've shared with the students made everything worth it. Maysum, abidi, Othman, Abidi, hamid, monte, Addo, hani, and all of the others. I'd say more names but that would take forever and be annoying so I'll avoid it. I'd also like to thank all of my teachers for dealing with my nonchalant attitude and for trying their best to teach me. I appreciate almost everyone that I've met this year because of city of knowledge, thank you all for everything. I want to finish my speech by thanking the most important people in my life, my parents and family. Thank you so much for supporting me and helping me through everything I've faced these past 18 years of my life. Thank you for all the sacrifices you've made for me. I will never be able to repay you guys or thank you guys enough no matter what I do. I hope that one day I can do the same for my future family. Thanks class of 2012, and thank you all for listening.
