Draper intriguing a fiction novel, Tears of a Tiger takes place in a racially diverse high school. After killing his best friend and teammate Rob in a car accident, Andy is consumed with guilt and feels as if he can no longer go on. Throughout the story it’s about being able to accept what goes on in life, and being able to be the bigger person. Andy the main character was the driver in the accident.
