“Shells” By Cynthia Rylant is a realistic fiction about a fourteen year old boy who lives with his Aunt Esther and his parents died. Also he had to learn how to live with his Aunt Esther. Also In the beginning Michael had to get used to living with his Aunt Esther. But Michael and Aunt Esther started to arguing.Soon Michael came home to Aunt Esther with a hermit crab. In the end Michael and Aunt Esther went to a pet store to get Michael a fish/crab tank and friends for his pet hermit crab. This story shows that there is a lots of changing in this particular story.
