Mr. Greathouse alleged that Lt. Simcox called him and informed him that officers were outside of his house and for him to get out.

Mr. Greathouse was interviewed by officer J. P. Smith 1292 at Akron City Hospital. The officers concluded the interview and Mr. Greathouse continued to talk with the officers and make small talk. Mr. Greathouse talked about how he eluded officers on Allendale and how he escaped to Independence Ave. Mr. Greathouse stated he was “tipped off by one of your officers.” Officer Smith asked who told him and Mr. Greathouse replied that “I shouldn’t say”, but then later he said “Simcox.” Mr. Greathouse stated he was hiding at his brother’s house on Allendale for the last few days. Simcox described Bradley Greathouse as a suspect in illegal methamphetamine usage and meth cooking. Lt. Simcox said that the girl Mr. Greathouse referred to is not a relative of his. He stated Christina Viland is a family friend and has known her since she was an infant. Lt. Simcox stated there is no blood relation between them and he has never eaten dinner with Ms. Viland or with Mr. Greathouse. Lt. Simcox said he worked an extra job at Pull A Part and that Mr. Greathouse had been there but he had never associated with him outside of work. Lt Simcox stated he did not call Mr. Greathouse on that day or on any other day. Lt. Simcox said he does not even know how to get a hold of Mr. Greathouse. Lt. Simcox stated that he had arrested family members, a father and Uncle, and the girlfriend, Mystique Brady, of Mr. Greathouse in the past. Mr. Greathouse came into the Pull A Part and complained to him that his girlfriend was going to go to prison for three years for a lab that was not hers’. Mr. Greathouse asked Lt. Simcox to not send his girlfriend to prison and Lt. Simcox told him there was nothing he could do. Mr. Greathouse wanted to work his girlfriend’s case off and Lt. Simcox said that would be fine and referred him either to Narcotics Detectives D. Reed, T. Sinsley or B. Boss. Lt. Simcox said that Mr. Greathouse never followed through. Lt. Simcox said Mr. Greathouse came back into Pull A Part on another date and threatened to beat him up or hurt him because of the case
