The well-known author and disabled rights activist, Simi Linton, in her film, Invitation to Dance, describes her background experience, that supports what this film is about. What she went through in her life on becoming disabled, has brought forward her contribution to disabled rights. I feel like Simi was documenting herself and those who came into her life because disability rights does not have much attention in the 21st century.
