The connections between Fredrick Douglas and Lucretia Mott are similar. They both had issues about women’s suffrage and also about abolitionists, and they were able to help each other with both of those things. To begin with, Lucretia Mott thought it was unfair that only men could vote and that only men could do certain things, so Lucretia wanted to make it where women could do most of the normal things men could do. That is until the day came when she was trying to get people to protest about it with her, but everyone thought she was crazy and that the protest wouldn’t help anything.
