The first step was to record baseline data. For ten days time fell asleep, activity before sleep, time awoke, total sleep hours, length of time alarm was snoozed and generally observations were recorded (see Figure 1 in the Appendix). This was compiled to come to multiple realizations about sleep behaviors. First of all it was observed that there was a correlation to how late bedtime was with the length of snoozing the alarm. In addition it was observed that the subject did not get up until the last possible minute before the first event of the morning.
