Adanya core bisnis digunakan untuk mengikuti tren populer di kalangan manajemen perusahaan berusaha untuk tampil saat ini dan mengesankan para investor. Core bisnis juga merupakan usaha pokok pada seberapa baik perusahaan mengelola untuk mengkoordinasikan kegiatan pada masing-masing departemen untuk melakukan proses inti bisnis. Core bisnis merupakan kunci utama yang menunjang kesuksesan sebuah perusahaan.
CORE COMPETENCY BUSINESS PT. GARUDA INDONESIA
Core competency Business pada PT. Garuda Indonesia yang tergambarkan pada misi Garuda Indonesia adalah sebagai berikut:
1. Melaksanakan usaha jasa angkutan udara yang memberikan kepuasan kepada konsumen melalui pengelolaan secara profesional dan didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai kompetensi tinggi.
2. Menghasilkan keuntungan dengan jaringan domestik yang kuat untuk terus meningkatkan pangsa pasar domestik dan internasional bagi usahawan, perorangan,wisatawan dan kargo termasuk penerbangan borongan.
3. Memiliki bisnis unit yang mendukung produk inti untuk meningkatkan keuntungan serta menghasilkan pendapatan tambahan dari usaha unit pendukung tersebut.
4. Fleet Revitalization armada Garuda Indonesia bertujuan untuk memperbarui aset lama untuk menyesuaikannya dengan standar modern, sebagai salah satu dasar untuk terus mengembangkan modal dan memastikan pertumbuhan di industri penerbangan.
PT. GARUDA INDONESIA tengah melakukan program pengembangan armada melalui penambahan pesawat agar dapat lebih maksimal menangkap peluang pertumbuhan di masing-masing segmen pasar yang dilayani. Pada saat bersamaan, Garuda Indonesia juga akan menyederhanakan dan meremajakan pesawat agar dapat meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan dan efisiensi biaya operasi.
Jenis pesawat yang dipakai akan distandardisasi yaitu jenis Boeing B737-800NG dan Bombardier CRJ1000NextGen untuk rute jarak pendek dan regional, Airbus A330-200/300 untuk rute jarak menengah, Boeing B777-300ER untuk rute jarak jauh, dan Airbus A320-200 untuk Citilink.
Tentunya dengan memaksimalkan 4 core competency business tersebut, garuda berharap akan menjadi maskapai udara yang akan memberikan kepuasan maksimal kepada seluruh kelompok bisnis.

Indonesia menawarkan berbagai keindahan untuk para penumpang, termasuk beragam tekstil tradisional yang menyajikan warna cerah, pola indah, serta tekstur unik. Semua ini memanjakan mata, menghadirkan kehangatan di hati dan memberi inspirasi bagi jiwa.
Desain interior yang baru di kabin pesawat Garuda Indonesia memadukan warna-warna alami dan motif tradisional Indonesia yang indah dipandang mata, bersama dengan kenyamanan dan kemudahan perangkat hiburan di dalam pesawat yang modern. Semua ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman penerbangan yang tak lekang waktu bagi para penumpang.

Musik dan alat musik tradisional Indonesia adalah cerminan beragam kelompok etnis dan budaya yang hidup damai berdampingan di Nusantara yang luas.
