Internet's Influence on Children

...My topic is Internet’s influence on children In my opinion, Internet today is rather harmful for those, who are in the young age. Well, it also might be harmful for adults, at some point, but it’s not my topic. However, if one knows how to use internet, its quite beneficial. About children, let’s take, for example our growing generation that around 10-14 years old. Have you seen them somewhere on playgrounds, or such places? I bet you haven’t. What do you think they are doing during their free time? They are carelessly spending it in the Internet, mostly in social networks. Well, maybe it sounds fun, but I don’t see any good in children spending great amounts of time in front of the screen. I’m too afraid to picture the aftermath that is going to happen in about 10 years from now. But, according to my current observations, I got a very bad feeling about it. Speaking of my observations, from time to time I visit some public places, and I see lots of teenagers sitting in groups and it all seems nice, except for one thing, EACH of them holding a PHONE. Just imagine – 4 teenagers sit around a table, each of them stares at the phone’s screen and scrolling facebook and at the same time they try to communicate. And believe me, that’s not just an accident, I’ve seen enough of such cases. It looks weird, what is the point of going somewhere public if your mind is in the online world? Well, I do not blame entirely these teenagers. It is not their fault. The ones to blame are...
