Exploring the Feasibility of Opening a Pizza Shop

Introduction

This investigation has been taken by me to explore the feasibility of opening a Pizza Shop. I have invested a significant amount of time into finding a perfect location for this business venture as I feel the location plays a big role for businesses feasibility. I have researched locations such as Twickenham, Richmond and Kingston however the competition rate are quite high, in Twickenham there's 2 pizza shops, Papa johns, and Village pizza, which shows it would be hard for a new business to penetrate. The location which I would choose will have to relate to my questionnaire, as the answers/results from it shows weather or not it would succeed in the area. An ideal area would be where people like fast food.

Another factor, which I have to consider, will be the brand of the business weather I should franchise a business or open a new brand.
Franchising a business has its advantages, however so does a new business . If I franchise a business at least I can look at the background of the business and see weather it would be a success, it would be a better start for the business as its already established and people would know the type of service the company offers however the start up costs would be extremely high then starting up a new brand. I have email many pizza shops to find out how much would be needed to open a well known, established shop. There are many shops that I have token into consideration such as;

Topz pizza, Planet pizza, Go Go pizza, Pizza Express, there are several more that were on my list however Planet pizza seemed a very good investment, they already have 7 shops open from one part of
London to another which does show that they are well established and doing quite well. I have looked at these types of pizza shops
