“We flew the first Apollo mission in 1967, it’s 2017. We should have a lunar base by now. What the hell’s going on?” said Elon Musk, Founder, CEO and CTO SpaceX.
MAKING HISTORY
SpaceX has increased overall consideration for a progression of noteworthy turning points. It is the main privately-owned business to restore a rocket from low-Earth circle, which it initially refined in December 2010. The organization left a mark on the world again in May 2012 when its Dragon shuttle conveyed load to and from the International Space Station — a testing accomplishment already expert just by governments. From that point forward Dragon has …show more content…
In 2016, NASA granted SpaceX a moment adaptation of that agreement that will cover at least 6 extra flights from 2019 forward. Mythical serpent was planned from the beginning to convey space travelers to space, and as right on time as 2018, SpaceX will convey group as a component of NASA's Commercial Crew Program. SpaceX is the world's quickest developing supplier of dispatch benefits and has more than 70 future missions on its show, speaking to over $10 billion in contracts. These incorporate business satellite dispatches and in addition NASA and different US Government missions. Presently being worked on is the Falcon Heavy, which will be the world's most capable rocket. At the same time, SpaceX keeps on moving in the direction of one of its key objectives—growing completely and quickly reusable rockets, an accomplishment that will change space investigation by conveying exceptionally dependable vehicles at drastically lessened …show more content…
The first would locate sources of water in the soil, and the second would set up a chemical factory to turn that water, plus carbon dioxide in the thin Martian air, into oxygen and methane rocket fuel. After the first people land on Mars, regular cargo launches would resupply them with food and other essentials. Indeed, SpaceX may have the expertise it needs to get the first explorers to Mars and back alive. The company already built the environmental control and life support system, or ECLSS, that keeps astronauts alive and comfortable on its Dragon spacecraft. Spacecraft today don't rely on bioregeneration to keep people alive. Instead, they use traditional life support systems — pumps, filters, compressors, chemicals, and the like. SpaceX's ECLSS is one such

...Memory Mapping and Task Scheduling Techniques for Computation Models of Image Processing on Many-Core Platforms Memory Mapping and Task Scheduling Techniques for Computation Models of Image Processing on Many-Core Platforms Abstract Adding more processor core can help in the improvement of a computer performance. As a result in the number of high specification application being run on the computer, it reduces the processing ratio of processor core. This journal focuses on how the system resources is being shared. It also explains how an algorithm is being use to share, map and schedule task for more processor cores. At the end of the research, the algorithm states how the processor core are being improved greatly by 64.77% . with the speed up ratio of 43.55 can be obtained if 48 process unit is employed and are all activated and 10% will be the performance ratio. Introduction Demand for high definition image of modern images made the computation working application much higher. To achieve efficiency improvements were needed on the system architecture. The frequency of single core processors could not have any impact on the processor cores even when the frequency is increased, as a result processors with higher computation power were employed. Today a number of parallel image processing algorithms with emphasis in manipulating the arithmetical level ignoring the limitation of hardware in a many processor core machine and are also developed for many core system. ...290 IEEE TRANSACTIONS AUTOMATIC CONTROL, VOL. ON AC-29,NO. 4, APRIL 1984 The Control of a Prosthetic Arm by EMG Pattern Recognition Abstract -An electromyographic (EMG) signal pattern recognition system is constructed for real-lime control a prostheticarm through precise of identificationof motion and speed command. A probabiistic modelofthe EMG patterns is f i i formulatedinthe featurespace of integralabsolute d u e (IAV) to describetherelation betweena command, represented by motion and speed variables, and location and shape of the corresponding pattern. The model provides the sample probability density function of pattern classes in the decision space relations between L4V, of variance zero and crossings based on the variance, and zero crossings established in this paper. Pattern classification is carried out through a multiclass sequential decision procedure designed with an emphasis on computational simplicity. The upper bound of probability of error and the average number of sample observationsareinvestigated. Segmentation Using Neural Networks

...SEGMENTATION WITH NEURAL NETWORK B.Prasanna Rahul Radhakrishnan Valliammai Engineering College Valliammai Engineering College prakrish_2001@yahoo.com krish_rahul_1812@yahoo.com Abstract: Our paper work is on Segmentation by Neural networks. Neural networks computation offers a wide range of different algorithms for both unsupervised clustering (UC) and supervised classification (SC). In this paper we approached an algorithmic method that aims to combine UC and SC, where the information obtained during UC is not discarded, but is used as an initial step toward subsequent SC. Thus, the power of both image analysis strategies can be combined in an integrative computational procedure. This is achieved by applying “Hyper-BF network”. Here we worked a different procedures for the training, preprocessing and vector quantization in the application to medical image segmentation and also present the segmentation results for multispectral 3D MRI data sets of the human brain with respect to the tissue classes “ Gray matter”, “ White matter” and “ Cerebrospinal fluid”. We correlate manual and semi automatic methods with the results. Keywords: Image analysis, Hebbian learning rule, Euclidean metric, multi spectral image segmentation, contour tracing. Introduction: Segmentation can be defined as the identification of meaningful image components. It is a fundamental task in image processing providing the basis for any kind of...

Quantitative Association Rule Mining Using Information-Theoretic Approach

...Association Rule (QAR) mining has been recognized an influential research problem due to the popularity of quantitative databases and the usefulness of association rules in real life. Unlike Boolean Association Rules (BARs), which only consider boolean attributes, QARs consist of quantitative attributes which contain much richer information than the boolean attributes. To develop a data mining system for huge database composed of numerical and categorical attributes, there exists necessary process to decide valid quantization of the numerical attributes. One of the main problems is to obtain interesting rules from continuous numeric attributes. In this paper, the Mutual Information between the attributes in a quantitative database is described and normalization on the Mutual Information to make it applicable in the context of QAR mining is devised. It deals with the problem of discretizing continuous data in order to discover a number of high confident association rules, which cover a high percentage of examples in the data set. Then a Mutual Information graph (MI graph), whose edges are attribute pairs that have normalized Mutual Information no less than a predefined information threshold is constructed. The cliques in the MI graph represent a majority of the frequent itemsets. Keywords: Quantitative Databases, Association Rules, Mutual Information 1. Introduction Association rule mining is a significant research topic in the knowledge discovery area. Association analysis...

Birthday Headline

...Birthday Headlines Pauline F. Bacay De La Salle – College of St. Benilde Introduction As final requirement for Technical Writing class, the students were to research on events that were headlines on the day they were born, 20 years, 50 years and 100 years ago. They were to present this in front of a panel in specific schedules their professor has given. This also served as their final exam for the second term of school year 2012 – 2011. They were to follow the APA style in doing the paper including a bibliography of the same format. The research is very useful in their course, which is Bachelor of Arts Major in Consular and Diplomatic Affairs, because it concerns historical headlines around the world and their course mostly consists of majors in history. They may also improve their research making skills and strategies in the study because it requires them to consult more sources for a precise and reliable study. Based on this study, many historical events did happen on the same month of the researcher’s birthday. Some created great effect on today and others are just headlines that shook the world. It’s a way of discovering new things about history and also getting to remember it because it took a mindful of research to get all the information. It also serves as an achievement for a student to create a research paper and applying all that they have learned in their subject.
