Galleons were sailing ships that got high out of the water with a lot of force. A lot of ships had to be converted to be naval ships, ( The defiinition of naval accourding to google is “A naval ship is a military ship (or sometimesboat, depending on classification) used by anavy. Naval ships are differentiated from civilian ships by construction and purpose. There were cannons, (which cannons were the main weapon since it was mostly on a ship) , guns, and with guns they needed gunpowder, swords.
