Loyalty Program Functional Requirements
· The new customer loyalty system must be able to be partnered with the current Point-of-Sale System
· The system will allow be able to track and award loyalty points which can be redeemed
· The system will allow for employees to view point totals via terminals
· Must allow for management and changes to be made by the cashier
· Must allow for third party partners to be able to make changes and updates
· The system should allow for report generation in order to obtain statistics and historical data
· Must allow for customers to verify account information, check point balances, and redeem points through the Kudler Fine Foods website.
· Purchase receipts should yield current point balance information
· Must be able to track customer purchases
· Must be able to incorporate the existing SQL database of customers
· Must include a new SQL database for loyalty program customers
· Must be able to import existing customers to the new SQL database
· SQL databases must be accessible 24/7 via central location
· Must be able to expand based on the needs of the company
· System must be able to support the immediate issue of loyalty program cards
· System must be easy to utilize, include instructions, with a “how to” option at terminals
Loyalty Program Non-functional Requirements
· The system should coincide with the current system, in the even customers decline the loyalty program
· Loyalty program members must sign an agreement form, agreeing to terms and conditions
· Customers should receive a loyalty program card at the time of sign-up
· No customer can access any others information
· Any administrative changes can only be made by Executives, managers, cashiers and the third party
