Since kids and teenagers alike are now bombarded with screens and the Internet all the time, kids start to lose their drive to want to socialize with others. Rather, they would chat through texting and email. This all starts when a child is very young. Margaret Desler from “Guest Opinion: Step Away from the Screen” explains that babies and preschoolers “. . .who spend time in front of a screen spend less time interacting with parents.” This can cause major parent-child issues such as frequent arguing.
