Personal Planning

Time Analysis Time is something so important and valuable that you don’t get it back. Time management is one of the keys to your personal and professional success. Everyone has the same amount of hours in each day, it is what each individual does within those hours that make the most out of it or not. When taking a look at my personal time analysis, I noticed that much of the time spent was doing something other than what is important to me. In Figure 1 – Weekly Time Analysis, you can clearly see that majority of the time went towards work followed by sleep and lastly studying. Through right time management, you can “create” the time you need, and not just wait for it to come and by planning your time wisely, you will have more time to do more things (Remez, 2004). Although those daily events are important, I feel more of my time should be placed towards family and recreation.

My Strengths In today’s jog marketplace, everyone is fitting for a position let alone your position. Degrees don’t hold the same weight and value as they once did and experience can be seen as a threat. Keeping up on trends, but more importantly, being able to apply those trends to your organization, demonstrates your understanding if its place within the industry (Casserly, 2013). Staying relevant and being innovative is one way I try and keep my name positively circulating amongst the leaders of the company. Becoming indispensable coincides with being flexible as well. Making sure the leaders know that no matter what is going on around me, I can still get the task completed is also key to securing your position. Out of all qualities and attributes, I would say loyalty is the one that stands out the most and in fact contributed to securing the job I currently have.

Adultery and Why It Matters

...Running Head: ADULTERY AND WHY IT MATTERS ENGL126-Sound Writing Skills Instructor: x Final Author May 09, 2011 The gimmick filled reality television and high-speed internet has spun us for a loop and left people so dizzy, they have forgotten which way is up. In an article from Time, Caitlin Flanagan explains why marriage matters and Olivia Stren from Flare discusses why women are optimistic about being given the opportunity to have an affair. As if it is now fashionable to cheat on your wife or husband, adultery has become a socially accepted “norm” as a result of changing demographics and its prevalent nature. This moral regression will leave our society scarred if left unchecked. Adultery cannot be dissected and understood without first understanding the institution of marriage and what it stands for. Let us forgo the typical, contract idea, “in sickness and in health” and the whole “love” thing and settle with the belief, for this argument, that marriages are the beginning of a new generation. Marriage is intended to raise the children, to protect, and instill in that new generation the teachings we want them to take into the future to make our world the best it can be (Flanagan, 2009). With that said, what is marriage as it stands today? If children are watching the moral fabric of society, one of the oldest traditions in the history of our people, melt away and be replaced with selfishness and depression? We are creating the ultimate “Me-Generation” who...

Decade of 80's in Pakistan

...The decade of 80’s has been a turning point for women in Pakistan. The imposition of Islamisation created unrest amongst women as they were forced to stay back in their houses because, apparently, working with men was against the laws of Islam. At that time, there was a common idea circulating amongst them that they should be given equal opportunities like men. This makes us think if they truly have the rights of being heard before being accused. A number of events of women harassment took place during the Zia regime, under the name of Islamisation. One of whom is, “… More than 70 percent of women in police custody experience physical or sexual abuse at the hands of their jailers…” (Thomas “Police abuse of Women in Pakistan”) Although men think they restrict their women from going out to work as they can’t trust the world, but then the difference between oppression and protection must be understood. This point of view fitted exactly in a men oriented society where women were looked upon as property. The martial law’s proceedings created an atmosphere in the country where individuals took law in their hands and beleaguered women. (Alvi 1328). The women, at that time, were right to stand up against who thought that the presence of a woman in a society is a sign of them. Zia-ul-Haq remained in power for around 11 years, 1977-1988. During this time he imposed ‘Shariah’ (Islamisation) in the country which, apparently, was to implement Islam in true sense. According to Shariah Laws...

Post Spawn Fish Research Paper

...You should tie on a Rapala Husky Jerk and cast up onto the weedflat. Then use a sweep-sweep-pause retrieve; that should trigger a good fish. I am going to pick up my Quantum TS604F spinning rod with the Energy E7-4 strung with eight pound test Stren Magnathin and throw a one-eighth ounce jig head with a four inch Salty Ringworm. This is one of the best post spawn presentations there is! It has both attracting and triggering qualities. It is also a quiet bait. After seeing 10,000 spinnerbaits in the last two weeks we will need to show them lures they have not seen in a while. The beauty of a jig worm setup is you can fish in the weeds with a finesse type bait and not be hung in the weeds a lot. When you feel the jig worm is stuck on a weed you can snap your wrist and it will pop off the weeds 99 percent of the time. This method will also trigger bites. The bass think their meal is getting away when it pops off the weeds and will strike. Just like that one! Looks like about a two pounder...
