The first report, “Haywaire: Children Living with Schizophrenia,” was a very different perspective from the second documentary, “Living with Schizophrenia: A Call for Hope and Recovery.” One family noticed that their infant baby was following images with her eyes that were not there in reality. People told them that it is normal for kids have imaginations and imaginary friends, but it became different to her parents when the imaginary friends controlled their daughter and she didn’t control them.
The adults with schizophrenia in the documentary introduced their issues with greater intellect and used critical thinking in talking about how their medications and treatment effected their everyday living. It seems they also had a better understanding
