These Latin American immigrants are being pushed away from their home countries by economic distress and political instability while simultaneously being pulled to America in hopes of achieving the “American Dream,” or in other words, a better life associated with a much more stable government and economy with enhanced employment opportunities that allow laborers to comfortably provide for their families.
