What exactly is the most beneficial diet? Michael Pollan in the English book “They Say I Say with Readings” describes his version of a healthy diet in three steps which are; eat food, not too much and mostly plants. Mr. Pollan also believes that as a society we should divert from the Western Diet which is eating processed foods and commit to his simple diet plan. However, his diet plan is in fact not as easy as he makes it seems to his readers. The reason why processed food is popular in today’s society compared to healthy foods is because it is cheaper and the only people that can afford these organic foods constantly are upper-class men.
