I chose to read The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty for my independent reading project. The Husband’s Secret was an interesting book literally based on Cecilia Fitzpatrick’s husband’s secret. Cecilia is the person I chose to do my Facebook visual on because she is the woman behind the whole story; she ties into almost every event and is one of the main characters. Cecilia is a mom of three, forty-two years old, married to John-Paul Fitzpatrick and works as a part-time Tupperware Consultant; and under the Information section of her Facebook page she states all those facts about herself.
The first chapter of the book, Cecilia finds a letter in the attic saying to open in the event of her husband’s death and she is put into a dilemma because of her curiosity. Instead of opening the letter right away, she asks herself what her friends would do in this situation and she decides that she should wait on opening it. Her friends obviously impact her life in a positive way and if you look in the friends section on her Facebook page they are placed there including her husband, John-Paul, who wrote the letter. This post is important because it is from Tess O’ Leary, who was just recently dumped by her husband for her own cousin and was forced to leave with her son in tow to her mother’s house to get away from the mess her husband caused. Tess and Cecilia know each other from school many years ago and when they meet up signing there kids up for elementary school, it was a blast from the past reunion and Tess posts how happy she was to see her. Tess and Cecilia instantly reconnect and become friends as they watch their kids go through elementary school. Tess’s follow up tweet after her first one also includes facts about Liam’s day at school and how he likes the secretary of the school, Rachel Crowley, who happens to be another important character in the
