The video “To This Day” by Shane Koyczan, based on the poem by the same name, reveals the permanence of the emotional damages bullying causes the victims with the poet reveals his personal experiences with bullying. Koyczan is a victim of bullying because when he was younger his grandmother would make him pork chops but he would call them karate chops. But then, the was an accident which lead to him getting bursaries and then it getting into an investigation. Most importantly he suddenly he has his first nickname “Pork Chop”. Which lead to more bullying in his lifetime. In conclusion, in the following paragraphs it will discuss how Koyczan had deal with the bullying in the childhood to now adulthood.
