“My plan is going work, Christina!” Tarek said.
“That is a terrible, horrible, incredibly foolish idea,” stated Christina.
“It’s not as bad as it seems. This is the only way we can be together,” Tarek exclaimed.
“Really Tarek?! We could go to jail, especially you since you’re eighteen! I’m too young for them moldy, body odor infected cells.” Christina yelled.
“That’s only if we get caught. Stop thinking about the consequences if we get caught. We just have to think of what we could get out of this,” Tarek said, defended his plan.

Her parents wouldn’t accept Christina’s chose to be with Tarek. They didn’t understand why their daughter wanted to be with a guy who was an unwelcome influence and came from a broken past. Her parents knew putting her in a public school was a risk. They wanted her to successful, go to college, graduate with all honors, and have a family just like theirs. Christina knew that her parents weren’t going to accept Tarek to begin with. Yes, Tarek made careless decisions, but he’s a wonderful, caring and supportive boyfriend. She was thrilled to call him hers. They make the perfect match. Tarek made her see who my parents were, controlling and self-centered. She wants to be free and find herself.
Christina had tears rolling down her cheeks from the heartbreaking realization. She didn’t want to runaway with Tarek, but if this is the only way to make her parents understand that the two belonged together, she’ll do it. Her love for Tarek ran deep within her bones. Tarek noticed Christina’s tears and stopped chuckling her clothes in the bag.

Tarek spun around and jogged back to his car. He opened the door and found Christina in wiping away her tears. “I’m sorry you had to hear and see that. I didn’t mean to make you cry. I had to confront your mom. She doesn’t even treat you as a daughter. Again, I’m sorry,” Tarek said, shame lacing his words. “It’s alright. I still love you,” Christina squeaked. Tarek pulled out of the driveway as fast as lightning. He took off toward the highway. Taking CHristina faraway from her parents. Maybe this will help them realize that they will lose their beautiful and loving daughter by the way they are treating her.
Tarek’s grip on the steering wheel was so tight that his knuckles were turning white. He wanted to punch something because of all the anger that had been pent up for months was finally reaching the brink of overflowing. He turn onto the highway and drove off.
